Kumail Nanji

I believe motion is what makes designs feel alive. For the past two years, I've prototyped in Figma so I could see interactions work. Now I'm coding them so I can feel them work.

This is my code playground – learning to build with craft and intent, not just duct tape and workarounds. I studied software development but left to pursue design, teaching myself through building, iterating, and obsessing over craft.

Now I'm returning to code, but this time with a designer's eye.

I founded Creatifly, working with early-stage startups and YC-backed companies on product design, motion, and prototyping. I later joined Airbnb on their AI prototyping team.

Currently, I'm a founding designer at Monogram, shaping the product from the ground up.
